Massive Vintage Archdale Radial Arm Drill.
ID plates are missing so model and age details are unknown. Estimating its probably 1930's or 1940's era?
Morse Taper No.5 drill chuck.
Approx 550mm diameter main vertical cylinder.
Main arm length approx 2500mm.
3-phase.
Owner estimates around 12-ton weight.
This old massive unit is not fully operating. Owner states vertical column motor is blown and column is very rusty. Horizontal guide rails are also rusty. Main drill motor apparently functions we have been told but not tested as electrical wiring is exposed and open at rear. Oil level indicator is very low.
Unit would need extensive restoration and repair, or sold as scrap.
